Description: Two hundred fourteen flowers and one hundred fifty buds on seven evenly arranged, pendulous inflorescences borne on a 40.0 cm diameter plant grown in a 12.5 cm black plastic pot with eleven mature 2.5 cm x 3.5 cm x 8.0 cm pseudobulbs; leaves distichous, narrowly elliptic, thick and strongly V-shaped in cross section; sepals and petals vibrant yellow-green; lip white; column white, light green distally; substance firm; texture matte. Cymbidium canaliculatum, award 20142176, has been confirmed to be Cymbidium canaliculatum forma barrettii by SITF (August 2014).

Description: Thirty-three flowers and twelve buds on five inflorescences on a robust plant 56.2 cm tall and 53.5 cm wide grown in a 17.5 cm plastic pot; leaves 7.0 cm x 14.0 cm distichously arranged, closely spaced, ventral surface light green, dorsal surface deep maroon-rose, leaf bracts green overlaid pink; sepals and petals light green blushed maroon distally, reverse deep maroon-rose; lip white, proximally tubular, distally spread, midlobe apex sharply pointed blushed pink proximally, anther cap white; substance firm; texture matte; noted for the red form from Panama. Epidendrum lacustre, award 20142177, has been confirmed to be Epidendrum lacustre by SITF (August 2014).
